Early Days
My name is Nur Ainne and I am a founder of CoreSocietal Analytics. I was born in Johor Bahru and grew up in Taman Sri Skudai during the 1980s and 1990s. It was a close-knit multiracial neighborhood. Living there taught me to listen, observe, and appreciate different perspectives. These values still guide how I approach problems today.
My love for writing began in school. Even though I was placed in the science stream after good PMR results, I knew my heart was elsewhere. After SPM, I pursued my passion at the Malaysia Institute of Integrative Media in Wangsa Maju, Selangor, where I earned a Diploma in Journalism (2004–2006).

From Journalism to Media & Communication
In 2006, I began my career as a journalist with Malay Mail Newspaper in Bangsar (2006–2008). Journalism trained me to dig deeper than headlines. Ask “why” and “what’s behind this?” rather than stopping at the surface.
In 2011, I worked as a producer at Bernama Radio 24, Kuala Lumpur (March–June 2011), where I proposed production concepts, organized shoots, and developed program content with on-air talent. That same year, I also joined SHP Media Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur (March–June 2011) as a writer, creating impactful content.
By 2011–2012, I moved into marketing and customer engagement as Head of Marketing at Al-Maghrib Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, overseeing traditional and digital campaigns, branding, and customer service trends.
From 2012 to 2024, I transitioned into entrepreneurship by founding My Maq Aky Enterprise in Subang Jaya. I provided Business Communication Consultancy, diagnosing organizational communication challenges and offering research-based solutions. During this period, I also worked as an Event Manager for relationship-focused events and authored children’s storybooks.

Transition Into Data Analytics
Between 2017 and 2022, while beginning independent research. I realized many business and societal problems were rooted in the same issue: lack of structured, reliable, and contextual data.
By 2023, I began full-time work as a Data Analyst (self-employed, Subang Jaya). I built a foundational societal dataset on the low-wage, high-profit foreign labour ecosystem in Malaysia and beyond.
I also strengthened my technical knowledge, earning the Arcitura Certified Big Data Professional (Canada, 2023) through MDEC, and taking courses such as the Basic Introduction to Shariah-Compliant Investment (2023).
As a Data Researcher and Data Analyst, I focus on continuous learning, building practical, hands-on skills from relevant sources to deliver meaningful results.

My Values and Commitment
CoreSocietal Analytics is more than data. It is about building fair and sustainable solutions for society. I am committed to hiring Malaysian freelancers for Data Management and AI Tool Application Development, paying living wages to new graduates, experienced professionals, and those who are reskilling or upskilling.
Hiring foreign freelancers is only considered when justified, especially for international projects. This is my way of helping stabilize the job and labour market while delivering excellence to clients.

Why I Do This
Every stage of my career has been guided by the same principle: to find the real story, uncover the root causes, and communicate them clearly.
Today, I use data to do just that. By transforming complex societal information into actionable insights, I can help property developers, NGOs, policymakers, and businesses from different sectors not only solve their challenges but also contribute to a fairer, more sustainable society.
